Cam Van part 4
There has been a fair bit of time passed since the last Cam Van update. There had not been a lot of time or money spent, or progress made for a while. Then some things happened. Tayla moved out of her rental and I scored her gas lift bed and some drawers. This caused a whole new rethink, refit and remodel for the Cam Van.
So, we removed all the old bed frame and side storage, and fitted the new frame and drawers. I added some extra struts and have since fitted a full sized queen bed, added some overhead storage, moved and modified the kitchen and fridge about 8 times, and recently added a microwave and pie warmer/oven into some cabinetry, so now it really is ready for extended travel in comfort, without ever having to worry about not being able to prepare and cook good food.
We were gifted some lovely "Forever 22" blankets from Mackenzie, so one is at home and one is in the Cam Van.
I am of the opinion that the Cam Van now has everything it could possibly need.
All I need now is to be able to go away for an extended period to use it as it was originally intended.
